Erasmus+ Traineeship

Overview
Type: Internships
Region: Erasmus+ area (all EU member states, Iceland, Northern Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey - application possible at any time, all documents must reach KOOR at least 4 weeks before the start of the internship)

Worldwide - Erasmus+ partner countries (including UK and Switzerland - application documents must reach KOOR at least 1 month before the start of the internship; application possible again from the beginning/middle of September 2022!)
Target Audience: Students and graduates (Bachelor and Master).

PhD students are currently not eligible for funding. Please contact the Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) for funding of internships abroad.
Duration: minimum 60 days, maximum 12 months
Funding: monthly financial support

The program offers financial support, but does not place students in internships.
You must conduct your own internship search.

Central coordination office
is KOOR - Erasmus Services BW at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. You have to register online on their website and - after a successful formal check of your registration - you can download all application documents:

Application Form
Please complete the form, have it signed by KOOR, then send it together with your current KIT enrollment certificate to INTL for signature (erasmus-out∂intl.kit.edu).

Learning Agreement
Contains basic information about your internship such as working hours per week, working language, compensation and insurance coverage.
Please complete the form, have it signed by the host institution of your internship and your departmental Erasmus coordinator.

Confirmation from your university
This form is part of the final documents that KOOR will send you at the end of your internship and is needed for the 2nd installment of funding. In this document, the faculty confirms the notation of the internship in the Transcript of Records and/or Diploma Supplement. You will need this document for both voluntary and compulsory internships.

Funding benefits

The eligibility conditions for Erasmus+ traineeships within Europe or traineeships worldwide are the same:
